
Dates provide a rich sources of selenium, copper, potassium, magnesium, iron and fiber. Almonds are rich in protein, healthy fat, vitamin E, calcium, and antioxidants.
Ingredients
1 cup Almonds
1 cup Dates, or 8 medjool dates
1 tsp. Cinnamon powder
1/2 tsp. Cardamom powder
1/2 tsp. Ginger powder
pinch of Himalayan pink salt
1 tbsp. Coconut oil
Optional extras:
1/2 cup Coconut, shredded or desiccated
1 tbsp. cocoa powder
Directions
Add almonds and spices to a food processor. Process till roughly ground. Add dates and coconut oil. Mix together and make into the size you like best. You may like to roll them in shredded or desiccated coconut.
Enjoy these for a mid afternoon pick-me-up.
